Rooted in Community, Growing Together
The Stokes Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a group of parents, teachers, and staff working together to build a strong, supportive, and inclusive school community. Everything we do is focused on supporting our children’s education and creating a welcoming environment for families.
Build Community: Host family events like back-to-school socials, cultural celebrations, and playdates.
Support Teachers & Staff: Provide classroom grants, teacher appreciation activities, and extra resources.
Enrich Student Learning: Help fund field trips, arts programs, clubs, and enrichment opportunities.
Communicate & Connect: Keep families informed about school events, opportunities, and ways to engage.
Fundraise for Impact: Raise money to improve the school experience—like playground upgrades, technology, and special projects.
When the PTA is strong, our children thrive. Every event, fundraiser, and program is made possible by parents and caregivers coming together. By joining, you:
Meet other families and feel connected.
Have a voice in shaping school priorities.
Directly impact your child’s experience.
Join: Become a PTA member (no minimum time required!).
Volunteer: Help with an event, join a committee, or share your skills.
Participate: Attend meetings, bring your ideas, and get to know other parents.
Support Fundraisers: Every contribution—big or small—makes a difference.
WELCOME TO THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR
Please join us and share your ideas at our General Body Meetings the first Wednesday of the month at 6:10 pm. Whether you are a current member or not; though, we do encourage you to become a member. The PTA is open to all staff and caregivers at Stokes. The meeting will be in-person at the school with pre-arranged childcare and dinner provided. All are welcome - please join us!
